Jaime S. Buchwald, CPA, CFF

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer


PitBullTax was the brainchild of Jaime Buchwald. In addition to his leadership duties as CEO of Negotiation Technologies, LLC, Jaime continues to practice in the area of tax controversy and criminal tax litigation support, and brings extensive experience to the Company. He is additionally Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Jaime has been honored multiple times by the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers (ASTPS) with the prestigious Top Practitioner of the Year Award. He is also a Certified Member of the Tax Freedom Institute.

Jaime has handled countless IRS collection, audit, and appeals cases, and has saved his clients millions of dollars in the process. Among notable cases, he recently served on the defense team representing a commodities and foreign exchange dealer in a $40 million federal fraud, tax evasion, and criminal forfeiture proceeding before the FBI, IRS Criminal Investigation Division and the U.S. Department of Justice. In the Offer in Compromise arena, Jaime has a more than 90% success rate in approved offers, including several multi- million dollar cases. He has successfully represented professional athletes, political figures, and major entertainment personalities before the IRS.

Jose Alfaro

Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer


Jose is the CTO and Co-Founder of PitBullTax Software. He has over 20 years of experience in business, information technology and telecommunications, holding high-rank positions with major consulting, computer technology and telecommunication companies such as LDDS Communications, MCI Worldcom, Corporate Express, RR Donnelley, Velocity Express and many others. Jose has performed major software developments and data center consulting engagements including data center migrations, disaster recovery, relocations, SEO, E-Commerce, Web and software assessments. Together with his development team Jose is the main architect of our PHP framework, defining most of the internal structures and user interface components using his expertise in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The company has gained numerous and impressive list of satisfied clients who have benefited from engaging Jose to solve their most complex application modernization problems.

He has worked on PitBullTax since the creation. In addition to PitBullTax Software you can find his distinctive footprint in many logistics companies worldwide utilizing his extensive knowledge in wireless and GPS technology. Jose is a skilled Software and Web developer with JAVA, JSP, PHP, .ASP.NET, C#, C++, VB, XML, W-CE, Multi-tier-MySql-Apache-Linux (LAMP), MVC Frameworks (Zend, Symphony, CakePHP), SVN, AJAX, Cluster Systems, X-Windows, Web Services (SOAP, RPC, RSS, JSON), Cloud Computing (Amazon web services S3, E2) background. Jose's experience in web development, web design and e-commerce as well as maintenance of sophisticated internet applications helps PitBullTax to provide trouble-free technological solutions and applications to our customers. He enjoys tennis, surfing and wakeboarding.



Irina N Bobrova, MST, EA, CAA, NTPI Fellow

Chief Operating Officer


Irina Bobrova is an Enrolled Agent, Certifying Acceptance Agent and NTPI Fellow and proud that her vast financial training and tax experience has given her the knowledge and tools necessary to analyze and understand multi-faceted tax problems and find targeted tax collection resolutions that work. In her tax resolution practice, Irina has helped hundreds of taxpayers to resolve their tax problems, and particularly excelled in preparing Offer in Compromise cases with successful outcomes. To strengthen her tax knowledge, Irina Bobrova earned her Master of Science in Taxation degree from Northeastern University, Boston MA, which has one of the best graduate tax programs in the country.

As Chief Operating Officer and Program Analyst for PitBullTax Software, the leading IRS Tax Resolution Software for CPAs, EAs and Tax Attorneys, she spent years researching IRS regulations and procedures on collection issues and advising tax professionals nationwide on how to prepare successful cases. She also puts her experience to use for the greater good as a regular volunteer at the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic of the Legal Aid Service of Broward County of Florida, helping disadvantaged and financially challenged Floridians for free.

Irina’s teaching career includes numerous live webinars for tax professionals and live presentations at various tax conferences. She has taught CPE webinars and live programs for the audiences of ASTPS (American Society of Tax Problem Solvers), CPA Academy and Broward Chapter of the FSEA (Florida Society of Enrolled Agents).



Michael Rozbruch, CPA & CTRS


Michael is a nationally recognized entrepreneur and is the founder of Michael Rozbruch’ s Tax and Business Solutions Academy™, and Roz Strategies ™ an eLearning publishing , coaching and consulting services company that helps CPAs, Enrolled Agents and Attorneys build highly profitable IRS Representation practices through proven direct marketing systems, sales, practice management and case resolution strategies.

Michael is the creator of the Tax Resolution Domination System & Toolkit™. The Tax Resolution Domination System is a complete bolt-on “Business-In-A-Box”, designed for those just starting out or already doing tax resolution and want to take their business to that next level.

An unconventional CPA, Michael helped pioneer the tax resolution industry nearly 20 years ago. He founded and built one of the largest, most reputable tax resolution firms in the country. On the verge of a personal bankruptcy in 1998, he started Tax Resolution Services, Co. on his dining room table with zero clients and no IRS experience and grew it into a nationally marketed powerhouse registering $23 million in sales in one year alone. He is an author, a semi-finalist in Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and made INC's. 5000 list twice. Michael has been featured on over 225 radio and TV stations as the guest expert including Fox News Network, KCAL and KABC. His interviews and expertise have been published in Inc. Magazine, Tax Analysts® "Tax Notes Today", U.S. News & World Report, The Wall Street Journal, and Entrepreneur Magazine, to name a few.

Michael lives in Los Angeles, Ca. He has been married to the love of his life Roslyn for over 33 years who is the President of their company. He has two grown daughters and loves going on family vacations. Michael enjoys good cigars and can usually be found drag racing or cruising around in his supercharged 1968 Olds 4-4-2 and attending classic car shows on weekends.



Robert E. McKenzie

Tax Attorney


Robert E. McKenzie is a partner of the law firm of Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP in Chicago, Illinois, concentrating his practice in representation before the Internal Revenue Service and state agencies.

Mr. McKenzie has lectured extensively on the subject of taxation. He has presented courses before thousands of CPA’s, attorneys and enrolled agents nationwide. He has made numerous media appearances including Dateline NBC and The ABC Nightly News.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. McKenzie was employed by the Internal Revenue Service, Collection Division, in Chicago, Illinois. Since entering private practice, he has dedicated a major portion of his time to representation before the IRS.

From 2009 to 2011, Mr. McKenzie was a member of the IRS Advisory Council, which advises IRS management. He has been selected as a Fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel and serves as its President. He was council director of the ABA Tax Section (1998-2001). He was vice chair of the ABA Tax Section (2003-2005). Mr. McKenzie is past chairman of the Employment Tax Committee, past co-chair of the Task Force for Bankruptcy Legislation of the ABA Section on Taxation and past chairman of the Chicago Bar Association Federal Tax Committee. He was dean of the National Tax Practice Institute (1998-2002).
